Filtering Tasks

Snapforce CRM provides the option for you to filter tasks. All user levels have access to this. To begin please navigate to the Tasks Module:

1. Login to Snapforce CRM with credentials. 

2. On the home dashboard navigate to Activities.

3. Click on Tasks.

You should now be inside of the Tasks Module, from here you can create a new list and filter it as you see fit.

Create A New List for FIltering Tasks.

  1. On the same dashboard task page navigate to the right and click New Custom VIew.
  2. Complete the form:
    1. Step 1 - Under Title: Name your new view.
    2. Step 2 - Select which fields you would like to display. The fields we Recommend are Task Title, date/time created, Assign To, Date/Time due and date completed.
    3. Step 3 - Specify FIlter Criteria
      1. Filter by owner: Select all records
      2. Default Per Page : You can change the number to however many tasks you want to view on each page.
  3. In the first filter criteria field in yellow, for the first drop down arrow select Assign To.
  4. In the second field's drop down select Equals.
  5. In the third field put the user id for the user that the task view is being created for (see notes below).
  6. Next you can choose whether or not you want to make the customized task list the default view , If you want to do so just click the Make default view checkbox.
  7. Click Save.

Notes

  • The user Id can be found by navigating to the drop down arrow next to your username on the home dashboard and clicking users. The user id will be on the left side.
