How to Create A Join Report

In addition to creating a report for a single module, Snapforce also offers the ability to create a few cross-module reports, called "join reports".  The two reports are Opportunities with Quotes, and Opportunities with Accounts & Quotes.  One of the main features of a join report is that you can include fields and information from multiple modules at once all in the same table to make correlating easier.

The following steps will walk you through how to create a custom join report for Opportunities with Accounts and Quotes,

  1. Log into the Snapforce CRM.
  2. At the top of the screen, click Reports to go to the Reports module.
  3. On the right of the screen, under "Company Reports - Admin Center", click Opportunity Reports.
  4. At the bottom of the "Select A Report" table, click Opportunities With Accounts & Quotes - Build Custom Report
  5. At the top, select the fields from the three modules (Opportunities, Accounts, and Quotes) that you wish to include in the final report.
  6. Filter the results using any Report Filters (see: "Running a Report") and Custom Logic (see: "Custom Logic in Reports") you want to use.
  7. Click the Run Report button at the top of the page.

The resulting report will list all quote records in your CRM, as well as any information you choose about the opportunity the quote is from, and the account that opportunity belongs to.  Any opportunities that do not have quotes will not show up in this list.
