Reports Overview

Reports are a simple way to get detailed information about your company's performance.  Unlike dashboards, which give you summaries, reports create detailed, line-by-line write-ups of information in the system based on the parameters you choose.

Reports can be generated for the most commonly-used modules:

  • Contacts
  • Accounts
  • Leads
  • Opportunities
  • Cases
  • Assets

Each module has its own pre-set reports that you can run at any time.  They also have an option to run your own custom report.  Running a custom report will give you more flexibility to get exactly the information you want and how you want it.  Saved custom reports also have the added benefit of being used as dashlets.  To learn more about dashlets, please read the Dashboard entries in the User Guide.
